What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?<br />I love to knit with anything soft and natural! I’m not picky on fiber beyond that. I DO NOT like acrylic, fun fur, eyelash, or anything like that.<br /><br />2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?<br />Currently? They are all over the place, unfortunately! I do have a holder for my circulars, but nothing for my straight needles.<br /><br />3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?<br />I have been knitting for several years, but very intermittently. My grandmother and mother taught me how to knit, which is a very cool thing! I would consider my self on the high side of intermediate.<br /><br />4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?<br />I do have an amazon wish list, but it is pretty bare right now. I am not sure how you would search for it, but my email that is registered with it is brookeshifletATyahooDOTcom<br /><br />5. What's your favorite scent?<br />I love rose or anything subtly flowery. I do not really like strong fruity smells. I also love coconut, vanilla, verbena, etc.<br /><br />6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?<br />I do have a sweet tooth! I LOVE the sour watermelon candy that is made by the same people that make sour patch kids, but I also love dark chocolate. I do not like cherry flavored anything.<br /><br />7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?<br />Honestly, I don’t really have time to knit as much as I would like to, so I don’t do much else right now!<br /><br />8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)<br />I like most kinds of music, just no heavy metal or twangy country.<br /><br />9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand?<br />I do not really like orange at all. I like all other colors, I just do not like red with pink.<br /><br />10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?<br /><br />I have a horse and I also have 2 cats. <br /><br />11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?<br />I do not wear ponchos – I love scarves, hats, and mittens though! (Especially fingerless mittens/gloves)<br /><br />12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?<br />Fingerless gloves, socks, hats, purses<br /><br />13. What are you knitting right now?<br />Haha – what am I not knitting? I am knitting socks, a bag, fingerless gloves, a purse, etc, etc, etc<br /><br />14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?<br />Sure!<br /><br />15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?<br />Depends on the project. I like aluminum with thick wool, but I like bamboo with thinner yarns. I do not like plastic. I have a set of circulars from 2-15, so I would not need anything in that size.<br /><br />16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?<br />I have an antique swift, but no yarn winder. I’ve been scared to use my swift since it is so old.<br /><br />17. How old is your oldest UFO?<br />Let’s see…when did I first start knitting…whenever day # 1 of my knitting 'career' was - that's how old it is!<br /><br />18. What is your favorite holiday?<br />Christmas!<br /><br />19. Is there anything that you collect?<br />Not really – well, except for UFO’s!<br /><br />20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?<br />I do not have any pattern books, believe it or not! I do have ‘knitting on the go’ (a box of pattern cards) but other than that, I do not have any. I have a few on my Amazon wish list.<br /><br />21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?<br />I don’t know what it would be at this point. I would like to do some fair isle work and just more color work in general.<br /><br />22. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?<br />I am a sock knitter! I wear size 7.5 shoes, so whatever that would make my foot measurement be.<br /><br />23.
